As I got one main comment that offered a touch more in-depth reasoning than any of the others, I thought I'd touch on that point. The commenter is right. I wish I'd have been able to come up with the right background myself. A nice marblish grey muslin or something.

Alas, all I had available were various blankets that all just didn't make the cut, and the cedar panelling won out by far. Although, on a personal note, I do kind of like the slight desaturated multi-color afghan shot.. but for DPC, it *is* a bit busy.

This was a last hour submission. I shot SO MANY things for this challenge before I got frustrated, threw a temper tantrum, and then just suddenly had this idea pop in my head at the end of the tantrum. Like that. Like magic.

9th place. I'll take it. Even though I tire of 9th place finishes.. I could use a few 6ths.. or 7ths.. or 5ths.. *SOMETHING* :)

Oh you are breaking my heart! NOT! :) I debated back and forth for days on which shot to enter and finally made my decision and posted the others here: Other Toy Challenge Choices

I'm very happy with my score but wonder if those would have done better but all is well, I'm happy! ;)

And why is that labelled "Goat"? That is the latin translation of its name but I've never heard it called anything but "Pronghorn Antelope". Is this a regional distinction possibly?
