Looks like a breath-taking location, with lots of potential. Good eye for seeing the beauty in this place.

It's a nice panorama, with a little room for improvement. Firstly, something about the composition makes it feel a bit off-kilter. Even if it's level, it "feels" crooked. This seems to have much to do with the fact that there is nothing in the image that can be used as a reliable reference for leveling.

The sky takes up a good portion of the image; and I'm not convinced it deserves so much attention. Some interesting clouds or sunset/sunrise to give it color might justify it; but as it stands, it seems a bit flat and dull.

The (rocks?) in the foreground lack enough detail to be discernable. With nothing in particular in focus, it's hard to get really interested.

As I said in the beginning, it looks like a wonderful place for photography. If I were there, I'd try to get a better exposure, with crisp focus and crop it leaving 1/3rd sky and 2/3rds everything else.

Sorry for the rambling. Hope it helps; and hope you get some critiques from better versed photographers.

I think it's a good picture, but the color seems a bit faded and the whole thing feels a bit "distant". Maybe getting closer or zooming one one particular area might have helped. The sky is also pretty hazy, and I know landscapes do a lot better when there is a breathtaking sky. Otherwise a nice picture though!

Wish I could give you better input; but my landscape skills are virtually non-existent. The blue sky is more interesting than the hazy one in your other shot; however, there seems to be quite a bit of plain sky in relation to the landscape. (See what I said before about sun and clouds). It also seems that the sky might be causing the rest to be a bit underexposed. You might try bracketing your exposures and layering to get more detail in the landscape without blowing out the sky. Otherwise, I'd think about trying for those shots when the light is not so harsh (early morning, afternoon, or when it's cloudy).

I do highly recommend this thread.
Bear_Music is a superb landscape photographer, and a wealth of knowledge. I'm not taking another landscape until I've studied that entire thread.

You may also want to check out the portfolios of some of the many excellent photographers on this site. The Landscape II Challenge would be a good reference.

Cheers,
Roxanne
