Another awesome clip of a lucky person barely escaping death or serious injury. After this close call that race photographer probably got a new job.

I did that a couple of weeks ago, had my eye in the viewfinder and a car was coming into the pits hot, had to jump out of the way after the camera started to focus in on him coming straight at me! It will make you more aware of where you are!

Rally racing photography is probably one of the most dangerous, but it's still on the top of my must photo list.

Rally is a lot of fun to photograph but the dust is a real hassle. I make sure I plant myself next to the biggest tree i can find.

Great photograph. Too bad it's not too big in the U.S. :(

It was obvious to me at the first rally I went to that these guys in the car were completely insane. You would not believe the speed they get up to on these little tight dirt roads.

Yeah, but did you remember to press the shutter before you jumped?

But I can tell you ... it is nearly better than sex :)

Because you're caged in, fireproofed, helmeted and belted in so tight with 6 point harness that you can't breath - it's pretty diffincult to hurt yourself. I've rolled twice and never got a scratch. If it wasn't for mortgages and other grown-up stuff, I'd still be doing it :)

One thing about the guy in the video - logic would say if you are shooting from the outside of the turn, shoot the entry, not the apex or further on towards the exit! He put himself in the worst possible spot.

And now he needs new underwear because of it.
