Yesterday Mel Tillis was on stage at the annual Poteet Texas Strawberry Festival. I had access to the front stage for the concert and got a few I thought I'de share.

Don, those are amazing! I loved all of them, but that portrait! The 2nd one is GREAT!

I didn't even realize the Strawberry Festival was this weekend! Darn. I missed it! It looks like you had a great time, and got some great photos!

Very nice, Don! Did you do anything post-processing to the second one to get the background like that? Really a very good portrait!

Nope, it was in a covered pavilion or barn and the diaginal lines were part of the sides or curtains. He does still put on a great show.
