What did I screw up? PS no longer recognizes the edits I make in Canera Raw. I make changes, click Open, and nothing. Did I inadvertantly change some setting somewhere? I looked on Adobe's site...foud nothing. I searched the forums, and apparently I am the only idiot that managed to do this. Help would be appreciated.

Thanks!
E

So you are making changes in RAW, you see those changes take place on your screen then you click open and when the image loads in PS the RAW changes are gone?

Exactly. What did I do?

Never heard of this problem. What happens if you save the RAW adjustments and then opening that file in PS via File/Open?

Opens fine like that, but a bit more trouble. I guess it'll do for now. Thanks for the help, Richard.

Strange problem. Might take a look to see if there's an update to Camera Raw on the Adobe site. Maybe reinstalling or updating it may fix the problem.

Tried all those already. Grabbed ACR 3.3, reinstalled everything, reupdated, and still no change. Its probably some simple setting somewhere, I just can't find it. I have looked through every menu and can't find it anywhere. I have rebooted several times, did a system restore and still nothing.

I wonder if there is a problem with the Camera Raw Database file (assuming that you don't use XMP files to store your settings).

If you want, try this (assuming Windows OS):

1. Navigate to the directory ?:\Documents and Settings\\Application Data\Adobe\CameraRaw, where '?' is the letter of your hard drive and is your Windows username.
2. Rename (DO NOT DELETE) the database file (the original file name is Database).
3. Run Photoshop and try to edit one of your photos in Camera Raw.

Updating or reinstalling Camera Raw does not alter the database file. That might explain why those actions had no effect.

I hope this solves your problem. Feel free to PM me if you still need help.

Thanks, I'll give that a shot.
