I'm looking for a harddrive that I can use when i'm out to DL photos straight from camera/card. It needs to be last me 7 weeks away in the summer, with all my 8MP jpegs, and probably the odd RAW too. I'm guessing 20-40GB+ but don't really know. I'll be using the Oly E-500, so will be using CF cards and will have USB 2.0 connection.
I'm looking at <£100 preferably (or as cheap as poss.) and don't need an LCD for review or anything fancy.
Does anyone know any products/makes/places to buy from that would help me
Thanks
Kirsty

Try here 20GB just about in your price range. Hope this is helpful.

Thanks.
Another question, if the battery runs out and I can't immediately recharge it, can it endanger the data? (photo storage drives in general) When I'm away in the summer I may not have access to mains all the time.

If the battery runs out, your photos will remain safe on the internal hard drive. You can recharge the battery whenever you get a chance and then transfer the photos to your computer. |
