I thought that a majority of DPC members voted for a change to 800 x 800 photos as opposed to the current 640 x640.
What has happend about this ... is there going to be a change in the near future? |

I think Langdon is trying out 720x720 at the moment.
Look at the Textures IV challenge.
It even allows 200kb max size. Sweet! |

I don't think it got the majority vote, but testing will be going on with the "Texture" challenge for 720 pixels/200k size.
edit: Not quick enough...

I remembered it DID get the majority vote, but not enough for the change to take place immediately. Langdon himself would have wanted 800x800 but he's now considering 720x720 instead so it would have a more site-wide appeal. He's doing a great job here. I'm personally hoping the 720pixel would be standard soon :) |

| I didn't get as far as checking the Texture challenge yet, but 720 sounds pretty good to me! |
