Backstory is and optional read, I know you're just here for the pictures anyway :P

It was kind of an unusual morning for me. The first part being that I was awake and lucid. The second part being that I actually left campus. It had just rained and everything was abnormally bright-colored, and after a full night without sleep (Nat and I had slept 9am to 9pm yesterday so we were by no means able to sleep at all over the night) we decided to head down to Squirrel Hill for breakfast. I was bouncing all over the place because I was actually well-rested and reasonably happy for once, babbling about color and light and all, and how I was disappointed that I left my camera up in his room. Nat replied by telling me to forget the camera for once and just actually live the moment...but it turns out I left my card for the bus ride in his room so we had to go back anyway.

Preliminary view of Oakland:
Nat doing a great job avoiding the camera while waiting for the bus:
Watching cars go by:
This awesome-looking old man:
I swear he didn't break it, we found it that way:
Wet and Shiny:
I finally get him to make eye contact with the camera, and he laments that I've stolen his soul:

Anyway, thanks for looking, I know they're not terribly awesome or amusing pictures, but just a few snapshots that were interesting to me. It's nice taking pictures again...I have a whole ton more that I want to go through but at this point I really need to crash and sleep somewhere.
