I have found several topics on lighting, all having to do with what kind of lights do I use or how do I make a cheep softbox. My question is, on a tipical photo shoot, do you change the lights around quite a bit or do you know off hand how you will set them up right in the beginning. I just submitted my yellow challenge and boy did I play with the light set up a lot.

I move my studio lights for almost every shot. I have a "portrait set-up" that I start with, but usually end up moving something to get a catchlight where I want it or to more appropriately fit the scene. 3 studio lights - constant motion.

Thanks for the feed back. I have just two lights and I have to hand hold them right now as I do not have a stand. If I learn to us my feet I will try three lights next time.
