hi there
the 3rd worst high water since 100 years or so hit dresden and many other cities along the river elbe.
the house where i'm living is not in danger althought it is built 100 meters away from the river, but the sheltered workshop, where my father is working, is now sunken in 1 meter deep water :(

EDIT: ok sorry it's not "flut" but high water, my mistake ;P

OH my goodness.... that sure is bad!!
I grew up in Germany (Muenchen and Landshut), but only remember ONE flood as bad as that.
About the Flut/high water: the word "flood" would do fine!
(If you ever get stuck with a translation, give me a buzz, perhaps I can help)
I couldn't go to see more photos - only found one "Flut" album, but it said 0 photos :-(
