Seredipity happens. I was at the park with my kids and I noticed these dancers getting ready for a ceremony at the other end of the park, so... I aimed the camera in that direction and managed to take quite a few pics. Not the best (some were blurry and aperture was off) but I thought I'd share. :)

They don't make hats like that anymore ... : )
Nice work under the circumstances -- way to be ready to take advantage!
I had a similar experience with some asian fan dancers in a San Francisco park last year. Sometimes the "setting-up" candids are more interesting than the performance shots. |
