(tomorrow the Renassaince Faire sheesh)

Always had mixed vibes about going to Legoland here in SanDag. If one listens to their friends, they might not ever go. Mine all said ew yuck, it's just for kids. Nothing to take pictures of etc. etc.

I've been here 7 or 8 years now and the wife and I finally got to go. Didn't hurt that the better half won tickets from a local radio station.

It is actually quite a neat place to visit, kid or otherwise. Very camera friendly and the layouts are quite good. Thousands of people but with the right angle you can take pics all day without a human in the shot. For the admission price (which is near Disney land's) you can get lost in the park for a day and not get it all.

I threw some quick edits in my portfolio so you can get an idea of what they got going on. All shot with a Tammy 28-75mm or 17-35mm (had a CP on the 17-35mm from time to time).

I'll go again sometime...

Well, yeah, but grownups have just as much fun with it and if we see any LARGE lego structures in the challenge we'll know who they belong to now, won't we? : )

I always used to injure myself with Lego. I'd get 2 pieces stuck together and try to use my teeth to get them apart, and then they would slip and the corners cut my gums :(

Or worse, tooth on tooth, auwauwauwauw....

We had a lot of lego. I used to build aeroplanes with wings so wide they'd break of (and that made me think about making a better design) or towers so high and narrow that they'd topple over at 2m high. Fun stuf, but don't put it in your mouth. :)
