Is anyone using Internet Exploder version 7 beta or whatever? These tabs and everything are sweet, and much better organized and easier to use than firefox...The text all looks different to me now though...almost has a reddish/purple tint to the black for some reason...STRANGE

I have heard some horror stories about problems with the beta version of IE 7. I'm not sure they are true, but I would not do anything with IE 7 without doing a complete backup first.

Well I'm about to have a stroke if I keep looking at the text like this. At first, it's kind of cool, now my head is just pounding. How the heck do I go back to ie6?

You ought to be able to do an uninstall and that should take care of it. But part of the story I heard was that uninstall would not work.

lol...well I uninstalled it and all is good.

WOW...I seriously can't believe how bad that hurt my eyes. I may go lay down for a bit now

I'm really glad to hear that the uninstall worked!

I have firefox, but it seems slower than ie...so I just use ie heh...

Actually, the only thing that doesn't work on ie now (since the uninstall) is that when searching, it doesn't automatically bring up a page from the left screen (that sidebar search thing) into the main page -- I have to drag/drop the links.

OK...I transfered all my favorites, organized them all on firefox...now I think I'm going to use firefox from now on.

Do yourself a favor, and try Opera if you haven't already (even if you have, try it again).

The current stable version doesn't play nice with DPC's menu bars, but the 9 beta that I'm using now works great.

I tried opera like 2+ years ago. Contrary to what people may believe about me, I'm actually very against downloading and installing software...I try to keep my computer pretty clean...It's an obsession...

I'm liking firefox though...I might try opera...that new IE man have I mentioned how bad that hurt my eyes? Seriously, go try it, you may go into an immediate coma.

I'll get right on that, I need the nap!

I love Firefox and I doubt I'll ever go back to IE. It's not just the tabbed browsing, it's all the extensions and plugins that are available. Plus I dig Thunderbird and Sunbird.

Dave, you should check this thread if you're up and runing with Firefox.

I'm with mk on this one - firefox is mmmm-mmmmm good.

Which means: I've not tried IE7 beta, sorry. :(
