hi there. am planning on buying a canon rebel xt. i want to buy a len use mainly for portraits. can anyone recommand me a good lens (best money can buy) a mid-range lens and a cheap lens.

whenever you get your rebel xt you should add the Canon EF 50mm f/1.8 II.... to your list, its a really great cheap little lens, also good for portraits.... I use this lens all the time for everything
