After just a quick look:
I like the portrait.. cute kid. :)
To me, a lot of smoothing makes it look a little too fake. Looks like a lot of smoothing has been applied?
Are his eyes different colors? Looks neat. :) |

Nice lighting and exposure, though lighting may be a bit flat.
Good detail, especially around the eyes and the catch lights look good in his blue eyes. And color is very nice.
Nice DoF, isolates the subject well.
I do have to agree with the above statement about smoothing looking a little fakish. Children generakky don't need smoothing and it just makes the skin look plastic.

Thank you for the comments! Actually, there was no smoothing done to his skin, but he does have exceptionally beautiful skin! His eyes are multi-tonal, so in certain lighting his eyes do appear to be two different colors, but it's one of those things that make him who he is, you know? Thanks again everyone! |

I would suggest taking down the saturation a notch. cute & genuine expression! :0) |
