Well I went to the store yesterday for some ink.. and I came out with an 815 pro.. I couldnt get over the huge LCD and zoom. almost everything performs how I like it on the camera, except the autofocus. anything in the tele range seems to never come into focus! It seems to be slower than my F828. I was up in the air over this camera or the Evolt 500 package. The evolt looked nice, but I really like portability.. and I dont have loads of money to throw into some decent lenses.. Maybe I am being over critical because I just got it.. I want to know how other people like their evolts? and if they can focus fast.. ive shot with the Canon 1D and now everything feels like a slug.. so maybe im dreaming for the perfect camera :-/
anyone want to buy my F828 BTW?
Ive had a D70 and the autofocus suffered a similar symptom of bad autofocus so it took the boot. likewise with my F717 sony and canon d30, d60 (puke) |

some 100% unedited crops would be clear to tell if the 815 lives up to reputation :)
i like the train and beach photos. Very nice! |

I may get back to you re the F828. My dad has mentioned wanting to upgrade, but I'll talk to him. Don't know if he has the money atm.
Will PM you if we're interested |
