Disqualification Message:
Literal representations of existing artworks, including your own, are not permitted. Please review the challenge submission rules.
I saw this under the DQ's in the Hands Challenge. My question is...why would a handprint be a DQ, but the #4 image not be?
I am not writing this to start trouble, as I rated the #4 image highly, but I was puzzled when I voted and am still puzzled now.
I have never requested a DQ and won't start now...I really just want an answer. Does anybody know the difference?
Hope this doesn't hurt anybody.

| As has been raised in other threads recently, this is not DQable because of the addition of an *actual* hand in the photo, providing a three dimensional aspect and incorporating an element of the photographer's own creativity. |
