Well I couldn't make it to the GTG but my wife and I were down there this last weekend enjoying ourselves and I wanted to share some of the images I got to take and process. They were mostly taken in Cades Cove but the waterfalls were on the way there. Many more to process but that will be later in the week.
They are in review right now for DPCPrints but can still be viewed here. (I sure wish the yellow challenge had come out a day earlier...notice the flower picture in the portfolio.)
Enjoy and please by all means feel free to comment, I'm trying new stuff when processing and not sure I'm doing well with this uncalibrated monitor.
Thanks all...good night...or good day if that applies to you.

Good stuff Scott. This lovely photo is my favorite of the bunch
Cades Cove and the road between it and Gatlinburg certainly are excellent places for peaceful nature shots aren't they? I have a few images in my portfolio of the same areas. If you've never been there you might also want to try Cosby Tn which is on the other side of Gatlinburg on 321. When you get to the end of the road (if you're coming from Gatlinburg) take a right and go a couple of miles. You'll see an entrance to the park on the right. There are so many photo ops there and you'll have the majority of them to yourself as not many people visit that side of the Smokies. My entry for the 2 second challenge actually came from there.
Come back and see us!

Thanks for the tip. When we got back we were talking to someone about the bad traffic getting to Pigeon Forge and he said if you go a little further past that exit you can go through Cosby but he never mentioned how beautiful it was...gonna try that when we come back in June.
Thanks again.
