What format are they when unzipped?

find your photoshop folder>open>actions folder/plugins folder>
then unzip folder
open photoshop then open actions panel
drag and drop the actions icon into the actions panel in photoshop

Open your Actions window. Click on the triangle button on the menu (top of Action window on right).

A menu will pop up, and select Load Actions. Go to the folder where you unzipped your actions, and select the name of the action(s) you want to install. After clicking Load, the actions will appear in the action window.

What is the file extension? I've seen some use tifs or jpegs for borders, so it might just be a copy/paste/resize thing to get the border in there.

I just looked at some on that site, and noticed some are psd files as well. Same thing, just a copy/paste border.

ya, they're psd files

but what do you mean by just copy and paste?

if i had a picture open and finished and wanted to put a border around it with my new borders how would i go about doing that?

sorry, im new to this downloading thing :)

The easiest way to do this would be to go to image/select all (on your image) then copy, then open up the psd border in another window and then click edit/paste then resize your image to fit in the border to your liking. Oh yeah, I forgot... when you have it the way you like, go to Layers/flatten image to merge the two layers.
