Hi, just wondering if anyone can help me here
I've been looking around at buying a dSLR to use with old film lenses (oly or nikon) and am aware you have to take into account crop factor. What I don't know however is if a dSLR comes with a kit lens, say, 14-45 mm, is that tasking into account crop factor or not? If i'm using on a camera with 2* crop factor, would it be what I am used to as 14-45mmm, ie from pretty wide to standard, or more like what I see as 28-90 mm ??
Thanks
Kirsty

To keep things simple, the lens is marked to the 35 mm standard (at least Nikon and Canon are) so the crop factor would have to be figured in to get the actual focal length for the camera it is put on.
