Santa Anita Park is a race track in Arcadia, CA (suburb of LA). This is an elegent old style park where the movie Seabiscuit was shot.

They allow photog to shoot early morning practices for free in the beautiful So. Cal. sun. It's a great way to try panning techniques.

Shot with my N and XT with a Bigma or a 70-200f2.8L, mostly around 1/30 sec at long focal lengths.
