I think they make a Zuiko to nikon adapter...I know they do for canon.

just to update, I was mistaken about the 'free' bit re the adaptor, I'm sure i read it somewhere so maybe that was the e-300. Anyhow, its pretty pricey for an adaptor, £100 (!) in my local camera shop but personally i'll probably end up trying to get the adaptor off ebay and buy the E500 anyway
