I have a beef with Ontario farmers (hehe, beef, get it?).
I hadn't seen my children in five days after being away for work. So I left the office early to avoid rush hour so I could get home and spend some time with them.
So what happens? I'm delayed by a bunch of farmers driving their tractors around downtown Toronto blocking traffic. In their twisted minds they think that annoying the general public is going to cause the government to give them what they want.
I'm not sure what their problem is, I think it's something to do with being unable to compete with lower prices from competing US farmers. Damn, if you can't farm a farm, get another job, I say. Don't hold me hostage.
From now on, I'm buying US.

The farmers around here do a similar thing, they drive their two lane hogging combines down the highway, holding up trafic for miles.
Unfortunately they are not protesting anything -- they just thing the government built them a fancy access road between fields. :(
