Lots of high scores in this challenge. Though I did not enter, I have really enjoyed marking this challenge...most of the shots got above 5 from me...there were less 'duds'

I think I may have gone into that category as well, seeing how many people immitated the exact original, also didn't know that parody is a comical way of imitating, my English is ok but sometimes I have the wrong ideas about some words..
Anyway, score is not that bad, it's keeping my average in place, hopefully

I am. I'm about .6 or .7 above my average vote received right now, and really enjoying the feeling. Which means I will growl when I get up in the morning and my score will have gone down half a point, but c'est la vie here at dpchallenge.
I think this is going to be a REALLY high-scoring challenge, too, so that higher-than-my-average score will likely still land me in the 50th percentile range. |

I'll take it. People have commented on the same flaws I found but was too lazy to fix. My photographer's notes even mention them. Why, oh, why, was I lazy? I was starting to feel guilty, as I wasn't getting any of my chores done.
Mine is scoring about .8 below the original.

Im very happy with my entry and very glad to see it in the 5's(even tho i know it will finish in the 4's) I learned alot from doing this shot which is really all i want. I mastered the task i set before my self. I just hope I havent embarrased the orginal photographer...but unless hes changed his name he hasnt been online in a really LONG time. I sure would love to know his thoughts on my take. :o)

I am sitting in a pretty good place right now - .8 lower than the original but .8 higher than my highest. If my score settles about where it is now I would be totally amazed and pleased. If I can hit another top 10 my life would be complete. Well, not really. But it would be very cool and an honor to place top 10 amongst the pics showing here.
Anyone still riding above 7? |
