I have Photoshop 2.0 and Elements 4.0...just bought CS2 upgrade @ $299 @ Circuit City. They say it will upgrade what I have, but if it doesn't, they won't take it back....any suggestions or help??? and by the way...BOUGHT the new Rebel XT with 300mm and 18-45mm lens kit @ COSTCO...over the moon :O)

do what we did.
Buy a 6.0 version of photoshop on E-bay for cheap.
Install it, then use your CS2 upgrade.

I think the CS2 upgrade will only work with PS v4 or 5.0 and higher -- I don't know if it will work with PSE. I'd suggest checking at the Adobe website (or call them) before you break the seal on anything.

Actually, the upgrade details should be printed in small type on the side of the box ...

Do you really have PS 2.0? You may be the only other person here who does ... I first used it on a Mac SE (9" B&W -- not gray! -- monitor) -- quite a challenge to edit photographs on that. USM was known as the "put on a pot of coffee" filter ...

:O) :O) :O) Yes, I still have it on my computer, but don't use it. I cxan hear all of you now...."No wondoer her stuff looks like #$%@!!LOL
I usually use PSP9 or Elements, but @ the store they said that CS2 would update from version 7.0 or earlier.... Just afraid of eating $200..thanks for your input. Think I will contact them directly...Good day guys!!!
