Hey all, please give me your thoughts on this flower picture. I don't have a macro lens so this is about as close as I can manage, but please give me all your thoughts.

I like the composition and the strong color, but can you take out all the "brown" tiny spots everywhers, as it really spoils the image..... You could do this in photo-shop.....

Nice colors, composition is fine, focus is on, contrasty..but fine, it has leprosy. Flowers subconciously bring to the table purity and beauty and while the harsh reality is many flowers are not perfect, the imperfections do not generally appeal. Hope to see more pictures from you.

nice shot, but don't waste your time trying to clean it up in photoshop. if you want a pretty flower shot, pick a clean one to shoot to begin with.

i like it for its imperfections. the only thing i'd suggest is working with more dynamic compositioning. you don't need a macro lens to shoot macros; if you have one, great, but a tripod is probably more important.

Just to let all know, the spots on the flowers are not dirt, they are actually part of the coloration of the flower.

Can I get a few more comments please?
