I have a photo in a challenge that may do well enough to be asked to send the original in. I do still have the original in my camera and on my computer. (I use Digital Image Suite). that brings up another good point on the subject of saving copies, etc. It is a good idea when naming your files, keep the original number as part of the name...in other words, instead of just "My challenge picture", it should be "100_4557 My challenge picture"
that way you can know at a later date exactly which of a series of shots you used. Not only for validation, but if you want to make a print, or re-edit or whatever.

I see that there is a time code on my advanced summary - but it doesn't list seconds. Is there a way to figure out the exact second the pic was taken? |
