i want to make a picture with the theme "opposites attract".
my idea is to have 2 hands covered in acrylic paint so they have that semi rubbery look. One of them white, one of them black.
then on the black hands side, i will have fire, and on the white, some sort of calming liquid, preferably water.
and they will be interacting in some way
im just not sure how to make this work
any suggestions?

Huh?
I would say the best bet is to paint your hands, light one of them on fire and stick the other in ice water. Oh... and make sure you set the timer on your camera before. :)
(glad I could help) |

Hmm interesting. Well you can't actually have fire and water interact without the water putting out the fire ;-) How will you show the water? In a glass container? Falling on the hand from above?
Will this undergo post-processing in Photoshop etc, or do you want it to be untouched? You could simply show two hands, one with fire and one with water on it (no container), and then clone them around so as they are moving toward each other, and maybe even mixing. You will need at least four different photos, and combine them together to get the effect.
I am sure someone will soon come up with a better idea. I am sleepy ;-) |

wow, ignite i dont know what some of that means truthfully, but that is a cool idea
*read it over again*
edit: it can have as much post processing as i want, but i dont want to abuse it

This is actually something you might want to do in photoshop.
