let me explain i joined dp in sept 05 here it is march of 06 and just getting around to spending more time on dp i hope to enter my first challenge this month any comments or tips on my portfolio will be gladly apreciated as i am a newbie thanks.....Tom

My thoughts would be (take them with a grain of salt as I am still a newbie too) to jump right into it. Even though my scores dont show it, I am learning from each challenge I enter. It also helps to view recent challenge results and to vote on current challenges. This way you can see what pictures are working and which ones are not. The biggest thing is to enjoy yourself, as this is a great community. Hope it helps! :-)
