Is it me or do most of the photos in the current challenges look like they have dimensions bigger than 640 pixels?

I'm trying to resize my entry for 2 secons to have a max dimension of 640 and now it looks sooooo much smaller than some of the submissions for the other challenges.

What am I doing wrong?

The rule is still 640 pixels and the site will not allow images larger than that. I looked over a few pics in your portfolio and some are smaller but several that I saw are 640 along the largest dimension.
