So I'm currently stitching all the panos from my trip to whistler last week.

I hit a wall: What kind of border can i use to finalize this unconventional pano stitch?

Could use something like Triptych, but you would have more than three and leave the center section out, so It don't cover your stitch work. It would look stair stepped. Just a thought.

You could do something like airbrush the rough edges with white or a colour so that they blend...something like this:



And clone out the the upper edge bits of white with sky.

edit to add: Nice job on the capture of the skier and stitching of the shots by the way!

If you have the images for it, you could make a diagonal triptych -- with close-ups of the action/scenery/etc on either side.
