Guess what I saw around my corner of the world today?

DPC Site Council checking up on me? A personal validation request?

Well... sorta.... :D

Had a fun mini-GTG today with Clara and Terry. They are traveling to Miami for A DPC Wedding and stopped to shoot for a few hours.

We met near the beach in St. Augustine and tried a few shots in bad light *giggles* then headed into the old city for some people watching / shooting / shopping / eating :D

They bought chocolate, but I promised not to tell

Terry tried to flatter me by saying he likes my portraits so I tried a few for him:

I think this one is a nice portrait of Clara & me :)

Then we stopped in a great little Irish resturant and had a fun lunch

Terry, stop playing at the table!

Had a fun time guys. Thnaks so much for stopping by. Hope we can do it again when the schedule isn't so tight!! :D

Snow?!?! lol They both got in the water! I won't even do that this time of year. The air is 70ish, but the water is probably 55ish.

And yes, was a really fun time! :D

hmmmmmmmmmm........ thinking about it... I'll bet they were checking to see if my 2 Seconds entry was actually EXACTLLY 2 seconds!!!

You know what? The strangest thing has happened here too... Those two turned up on my doorstep! The only way we could find to shake them off was to take them to a restaurant for a few hours, that did the trick ;o)

Indeed we did, but I unfortunately don't have Photoshop on the laptop at the moment. I'm working on installing The GIMP though.

I've got some up, but they are a little off. The laptop isn't giving me happy pictures. :)

Terry is still struggling to install a RAW converter for GIMP. So his shots are on hold.

He was looking for a plugin for Gimp so he can get rid of Windows. :)

I'm using RSE for now, but eventually I do want to find something I can use in Linux. Maybe I'll get lucky and find out that RSE works in WINE.

I'm jealous about the Cuban food. Miami has the best! We don't have any good Cuban resturants near me :(
