Inspired largely by this thread by Doctor Achoo, I gave in and ordered Canon's new 24-105 f4 from DELL this week. Although just a snapshot (yes that is my shadow at lower right), I was pretty impressed with the performance of this new lens. This shot is unprocessed other than rotating and resizing... the 100% crop looks pretty dog-gone good, don't you think?

Bump from yesterday...
If I can't get any comments on the lens, well then how about the vertical leaping ability of Rocky at least?! :)

| Well, I'm impressed with both Rocky's basketball ability AND the new lens! Congratulations!! Oh, and Jake doesn't look too enthusiastic - he could stand to learn a few moves from the dog :-) |
