Hi all you GIMP users out there!
I was wondering if any of you knew an extremely EASY way to create my own macros in GIMP.
I almost always use the same settings for my borders X:2, Y:2 Color 000000 (black) then X:1, Y:1 Color ffffff (white) and then X:7, Y:7 Color 000000 (black). The only differences tends to be the middle color changing to accent a dominant color in the photo..
Is there any way I can get this process macro-ized so I can have it happen instantly? Too often I am in the middle of bordering and I realize there's something I want to change with the main body of the image so I back all the way out, do my change and then go through each border step again. After awhile it gets annoying and a script would be SO much easier. Especially if I can easily alter it to make color specific border macros..
Soo.. any ideas or am I looking at a lot of script/programming study that I probably won't understand anyway?
Thanks!
- Sia

I have modified a few existing gimp macro's by finding one that did almost what I wanted, then tweaking it to do what I wanted.
Not easy, but certainly easier than starting from scratch.
