Hey, Hanneke, it seems our beloved Crayon has been getting a bit cocky lately ;-)

I wanna start a faceoff between you and him, in the spirit of the Rikki vs. Idric competition.

I think you'd two be a good match. But, mostly, I'd love to see the punishment you'd bestow on him, if you won.

Crayon? Up for it?

uhm, I didn't really follow that competition.. what's the deal?

please remember my camera is cracky (ERR 99 is gone, but the AF is also gone...)

We'll hold off til you are back running, I remember the camera problems with the err 99.

Why biteme? Because, I love your style. And, I feel that the punishment you'd dish out would be hilarious. :-)

might be an extra challenge for me to go for it with my AF-problems (oh man, what am I doing?!?! sometimes focussing is hard even WITH the AF on ;) )

OK... what's next? We will decide on an upcoming challenge that you both must enter.

Too short of a time to give you guys much chance to work on 2 Second Exposure, so what do you say we do it for the next Member's Challenge?

I'll moderate it. I will give you guys extra "RULES" you have to follow. More than likely I will specify something that MUST be in your photo or a specific technique you have to use.

Don't worry, I won't make it difficult... LOL.

The person that scores the highest in the challenge and meets my rules get to bestow a punishment on the looser. The punishment is they must shoot thier next Challenge entry with YOUR rules.

Edit to add: BTW, it is mandatory that you retain all anonyminity during the challenge. AND you MUST talk smack in a predefined thread during the challenge... LOL

I thought about Low Key, but it's a technical challenge that Crayon might not have a fair chance with. His camera probably wouldn't be very forgiving in low light situations.

I know with my 8700, low key is possible, but VERY difficult.

Edit: LOL, watch him Ribbon Low Key. :-)

Trial and error is always fun :-) Just remember, the beautiful thing about low-key is that it emphasizes shape.

the shutter is a mess again. I think I'd have to skip this competition (AND the low-key challenge :( .. )

AF works again, but there's a black half at the photo's again.
