You've done that? :oP
I can't say I've EVER sat on my backpack nor dropped it in a river (though the reason we bought the Lowepro Dryzone is that it's waterproof even when dropped into the river/ sea) ... I just want something that will protect from light knocks and falls from a low height...

For travelling I have the phototrekker AWII but to be honest when loaded I can't walk very far! I got the slingshot 200 a couple of weeks ago, love the fact you can swing it around to remove/replace your cam/lenses and, it makes you think harder about what to take with you. Even the 200 is small though and at a push I can just about get 1 body with the 70-200 and a couple of other lenses in it.

Sounds like the size I am looking for then.
My anniversary is coming up in May, I'm thinking new lens and new pack would be a nice gift haha. Actually a week in the mountains alone would be perfect but I don't think hubby wants a 5 yo spitfire all to himself without me around to play referee lol. |

B&H has it, and thanks I saw this thread just as I was looking for the same type bag. Saw it on the 14th bought the bag from B&H on the 15th had it on the 16th and its great. I got the Sling Shot 100, has all the room I need and a little more. The rain cover pulls out from the bottom and pulls over the bag. I like the whole setup.
If your still looking at B&H their stock # is - LOSS 100B. Its a nice bag for the money, I'm very happy with it so far(one whole day :D) |

OK - just back from B&H having bought the Slingshot 200!
Must say already that it's not perfect it you have long lenses. I have the 70-200 4L which just about fits width-wise. However, I've had to take out one of the grey dividers to make it fit.
Nevertheless, it fits, and it's comfortable. I'll be taking it out-and-about shortly so shall let you know if it is as convenient as it appears
