Anybody have any idea how I can make this appear bigger on DPC. I understand why it is showing so small, but was hoping there was a work-around of some kind.

I can't think of anything you can do about that panorama. You already have it at 640px on the longest side, and 640px is the longest on either dimension allowed for portfolio shots.

you could vote for the 800 pixels suggestion :)

The nature of panoramas is going to look small on any web site. There is no way around it. They are so thin compared to thier widths that the "appear" small. Unless DPC goes 800 max width, there is nothing you can do. Even then, it's still going to look small compared to standard framed images.

One suggestion is that you may consider cropping the interesting parts from the image and posting those at 640px width.

As already posted, the 640px width limit is the culprit. A good alternative is to upload a larger version to a site like Pbase or Smugmug, and link to that.
