to be seen during voting, is that possible ?
i mean i would like to see a field when submitting a photo for challenge where i can write down one sentence about the photo so it can be seen during voting, something like photogs comment but just exclusively for reading when voting, i think it might help in percepting photogs intentions and ensure the votes flow easier in, we can limit the entry to 100 characters or sumtin like that or 150 maybe ...
anyways i hope you get my idea :-)

peace,

A need that is often seen and asked for.

However, there seem to be two main reasons for the vocal opposition to it. First is the "image must stand on it's own" idea, which when followed to it's ultimate end has people asking for the titles to be hidden until after voting as well. The second is anonymity of the entry and the headache envisioned in policing that text field.

IMO, the first is the equivelant of insisting someone learn to dance while just taking their first steps and the second is no different than the title field, which isn't abused, so I see no reason to expect a comment field to be.
