I'm sure glad I didn't enter this challenge...I have to admit that I am disappointed in a LOT of the entries...a few high ones and tons of 4321's

Just thought it would behoove at least one poster here to have this quote be repeated by marcellieb. They will know why. :)
My score is STILL climbing, which I am very happy about. It's at a 5.6 now. I just may make my goal of a 6.0 yet! There is always hope!!
I also hope Monday is as pleasant as Sunday has been!

hmmmm ... well I believe Shutterpug and I both threw all anonyminity out the window by entering this challenge. We both have our trademarks. Ofcourse, I've been identified before even without my TM tattoo... DrAchoo nailed my Industrial entry from my style alone.

Nahhh, not you Fotomann. I just received a NASTY PM today and thought I would remind the writer as to why I said what I said in reply.
In any case...
I loved the industrial challenge though. I didn't enter. I couldn't find a THING industrial to enter UNTIL the challenge was over. :) Isn't that always the way?..LOL. Anyway, for an industrial challenge, I thought the images were all quite good. I remember you posting yours not to long ago. If its any consolation, yours was one I liked, even though I am not much for that type of style :) I did enjoy the actual technicals of the photo which I felt were very well done :)
I found your entry in this challenge as well. I hope you liked my comment :) I know, in your case, they are expected and you do have one hell of a sense of humor :)

LOL - it's okay sweety - she's referencing me most likely. Her comments on my entry were contrary to how I felt a photo should be voted on and I PM'd her letting ehr know that. It was NOT a rude PM though. I'll email you a copy of it in a bit. {hug}

Well I hit hit the submit button literally at the last minute (my clock actually said I was two minutes late). I almost decided not to put anything up, but I haven't participated since January and felt the need to at least try.
Unfortunaely, I read the email about the speed challenge about a half hour before it was up, and my picture and corresponding score reflect my haste.

My son had a blast looking at the entries. I added to yours and to fotomanns what his reaction was, and then made a few other comments including his reaction on other photos. He had a great time viewing this challenge. It was really cute!

I actually paid my $25 to join just to enter this challenge. My last two entries were mid 4's. I was hoping for at least a 5 on this one. And go figure - my score has been slowly creeping up. I am totally stunned. My dream of hitting a 5 has been replaced by maybe making top twenty. Can't wait for Saturday.

LOL - Been a while since I commented on this thread. I see the powers to be was getting agitated with the identifying photos to photographers (some photos are as clear as daylight) - By the way - My dog decided to chew my cellphone today - A bull terrier does have one of the stronger jaws in the K9family - not much left of my phone - He actually swollowed half of it.

I was at 6.6 but have been watching it slowly drop by 100ths. Not that it will make much difference but a 6.60 sounds better than a 6.51. Comments have been good. My wife and I are addicted to hitting the refresh button. I am ashamed to say that it has gotten so addictive that I have figured out the exact vote for most of the past 15 votes, followed by "a 3? who would give this a 3?" |
