I was just wondering what everyone liked out there and if there was a connection to your photography. I just got an ipod, so i guess it got me thinking a bit about the connections between music and photography. Personally i listin to My Chemical Romance, Greenday, Alexisonfire, a bit of K-OS, Kanye West, the killers, and The Used for the most part.

Be kinda interesting to see what other generations listin to

Have you heard of Congotronics? I highly recomment getting their album. I think they are coming out with or have already come out with a second album. Very, very cool.

We have a very diverse collection of music from classical to gangster rap, but no young country (I like some old country and bluegrass) or Top-40 pop (Britney Spears, Jessica Simpson, Justin Timberlake).

Some of my favorites:

Buenavista Social Club
Dead Can Dance
Pogues
Gorillaz
Pixies
Jamestown Massacre
David Bowie
Brian Eno
Pink Floyd
Bon Dylan
The Beatles
Tori Amos
Bjork
NIN
Tool
Ramones
Johnny Cash
Bob Marley
Aaron Copeland
Berlioz
T-Rex

I need to stop, otherwise the list will just keep getting longer.

I havn't got the time to listen to music these days.. but I have a CD in my car that I listen to when there's nothing on the radio..

it's inspirational songs by LeAnn Rimes.. and me that is NOT religious in any way.. even though I come close to praying to my camera ;)

but they do inspire when I feel uninspired.. and LeAnn does have a great voice :)

in my ipod I have a littlebit of everything from 1960-1995, and the top hits from 1995-2006 :) but the ipod doesn't get used much though...

Have you guys ever heard of Jandek? I would urge everyone to rent the documentary, then go buy a couple of his CD's. He is an amazing artist.
