I sent my D70 to Nikon Melville NY for warranty work because the flash didn't work and the warranty runs out next month. I sent it via FedEx on two day delivery 27 Feb. I recieved a letter on Monday 6 March saying they got it and they included a work order #. I check everyday including today and it is still "In Shop". I also asked them to clean the sensor(why not). I will keep checking but was hoping to have it back this weekend but it doesn't look like it. For me it has been 10 days so far. BTW I had to pay to ship, $14.27. If you live west of the Mississippi you send your camera to El Seguno. Maybe they are quicker? Nikonusa.com has all the shipping info. |

The MB-200 grip is far better in my opinion to my old Canon 10D grip. I can't compare it to the D2X of course, but it fits perfectly in my hand and gives my camera the balance it needs, streets better than without the grip. |

I wish it was that easy. There is a waiting list right now because no one has it in stock. Since Nikon wants to meet expectations for their stock holders and not exceed them, Nikon conveniently stopped supplying these cameras for the time being. Its a little frustrating, but I know it will be worth it once I can get my hands on one!

hmmm... looks like jr.com has some in stock, but then again their site and amazon could be misleading... |

I've had my D200 for a month and it is a fantastic camera. No issues.
Super fast AF and overall responsivness is extreme (everything is instant).
Upgraded from a D70, which I loved. The D200 is just better in all respects.
The only negative is that there isn't an affordable wireless remote (the D70 one was something like $20). I'd like a remote for tripod work, but otoh the D200 has mirror lockup :)
