Altough I said I wouldn't do windmills anymore, here is one from last saturday. Tried to make use of late afternoon winter light with this sky, try out my Tokina 12-24 (this is at 12mm almost full crop) and to learn to work with selective color adjustment layers and masks.
I'd appreciate it if you tell me what you think about it.
There is also an 800px wide version. Might be interesting to see the difference between them in the light of our recent 800px wide at dpc discussion. Same photo 800px wide at Trekearth.com. Trekearth has a 200kb size max and this is saved to that max.
Originally I wanted to use this for square crop but thought it would be too centered in such a crop and chose something else.

WOW Az, why didnt you call me?
I was thinking about windmills and snow, but I guess I am to late now huh?

The 800 pixel version definitely has a lot more impact. In part because it fills your view, but also because of the finer details that are visible. |

Thanks Peter.
It was a bit of a last minute thing. Would the weather cooperate or not? Drove trough a snowstorm to get there and had to wait an hour for sunlight on the windmill which lasted about 2 minutes.
