OK I know this was in 'painting with light' challenge and I already know that I should of been hammered because I did not read the details of the challenge and have already publicly apologized. With that said I wanted to ask a question.

This shot was taken in bulb mode on a tripod with a remote switch. On a 10 min and 54 sec exposure does the picture seem noise free to you. I though I would have a problem with noise and hot pixels but I didn't.

I did use NI (demo) but I also sharpened using USM. Do you think the noise level is good? I will try to post a 100% crop.

Looks absolutely noiseless to me. I'm sure the processing took care of any that may have been there.

Very nice job! ...well except for the part about not meeting the challenge. ;-)

Nice looking shot. No visible noise (at least at this resolution).

Just out of curiosity, what lense did you use?
