..........but would anyone be interested in giving me some feed back on this shot? I'm having a really hard time nailing this photography thing. I LOVE taking photos but have a long way to go to become "good" at it. I don't have photoshop ( yet), just the photo editting program that came with the computer ( Arc soft photo studio ). Thanks in advance. : )

I'm not even close to being educated enough to critique this or that about it, just starting out myself. But personally I love that pic, very cool! I love fishing ;-) & I love photos...

One of the first things you want to learn is to make sure your horizon is level. This one isn't but, fortunately, that is easily correctable.

Thankyou so much to everybody for commenting!! I keep ticking the comments as helpful but when I go back to them the box is unchecked, not sure whats going on with that?? I had actualy fixed the horizon in another copy of the shot, it was an over sight to post this one without fixing it. I only have a point and shoot at the moment so I have little conrol when it comes to f stops etc. It wasn't a set up shot, my husband and son were fishing and I just saw the oppertunity of what I thought was a good shot, so things like the line looping over the rod were just there. Thankyou all for pointing out what needs improving and what is already working well.
Thankyou to Kivet for the comment on my "red Hat" shot also.
All input is much appreciated : )
