So this huge agency in Denver is letting me have the 30"x40" space for featuring the photographer of the month. This will probably be printed on metallic paper with a high gloss laminate.

Thoughts? :D

My first thought is that it looks unbalanced...

i kinda agree

i might stick to a one image poster...i dont get the addition of the other object on the right other than to fill space. it doesnt do more than fill space for me though.

teh poster is advertising both beauty and product photography. The art buyer wanted me to include rodeo images as well. Couldn't add those and make it work.

What about if you separated the product off with a line down the poster....so the model had 2/3 and product on t'other 1/3. 2 shots in one kinda

To me the two images say quality. Excellent lighting, silky smooth complexion, great tones, and lots of detail, especially in that gas grill. They really show off your subjects in the best light, and that's what advertisers would want. Maybe you can add a small third image on the right side to help with the balance?

I agree with Olyuzi, and my ever so humble two cents to this would be the suggestion of having her in the center with her hands out on either side by her head (i.e. flat palms or balancing trays like a waiter) and have the alternate products on them. I think it would imply service as well as give the picture some balance. You could even make it look like she's juggling several ad-worthy things in mid-air (sounds a little cheesy now that I wrote it down)... Hmm, take a grain of salt with all that.

With your fantastic pics, how could you go wrong? :)
Best of luck!

Any other comments? Any agency designers have an opinion?

oh oh I got it! It could be like a double page spread in a magazine- you could even make the staples in it and the shadows too. eh- just a thought :0)

Does anybody think that the girl looks like a spokes person for the grill?

you may want to make the photog name larger...it also looks like the grill is just floating in space...doesn't seem to have much of a purpose for being there as it's laid out

Keep in mind this is a 30x40 print, my name will be over an inch tall...
