I picked up a Canon EX430 flash yesterday and did some messing around with it this afternoon. These are pics of a friend who stopped by. Flash bounced off ceiling. As a lot of folks here seem to have done, I'm considering a Lightsphere. Maybe this week, though, I'm happy with how these turned out without a Lightsphere. The only other light in the room was a desk lamp pointed away from the subject. Used a black piece of felt as a bg. Did some slight burning and dodging as well.
