I post a new forum, but it only appears as a member exclusive forum. How can I post a non-member exclusive forum?

looks like you're posting int he Rant forum, which is not the same as the member forum. |

I logged off too and you're right ... the thread disapeared. But I don't think it's a Member Forum thing; I think it disapears when you're not logged in. Must be a REGISTERED user (Member or not) to see the Rant Forum.

The rant forum isn't a members forum as such, but it is hidden from the front page if you're not logged on. Solution - don't log off!

In your preferences, there is a checkbox where you can decide whether you want rant forum threads to appear on the front page. The "default" option for guests (visitors who are not registered or not logged in) is off.
Regardless, if you give a non-user a link to that thread, they can still view it. Also, that visitor can select Forums from the Community menu above, and get to the Rant folder from there.
