I've been using NI since I can remember. I even bought a licensed copy, which I lost the serial # to, so now I'm just using the trial version anyway. But I tried NN and it never worked well for me. Things just seem to flow really nicely in NI.

I've had the opposite experience from deapee. I find Noise Ninja very intuitivte. You can run it on default setting and allow the program to profile the file and reduce the noise for you and it still comes out better than NI. As for sharpening you can add it right into the noise reduction sequnce. If there is an area you want to reduce the amount of noise reduction to increase sharpness it is an easy process.

The problem with that whole thread is that it was tested on a reduced size image. Do the same testing on a full size image to really get a snese for what they do. As someone mentioned in the thread Noise Ninja works best on the original image, before any adjustments are made.
