On Pirate Kid....there seems to be a lack of focus, so sharpening more if you can will help. The person in the lower conrer - the one weraing a green shirt with their belly hanging out....I'd get rid of them. Clone, crop, whatever - just take them out as they are distracting.

Guitartist..... the angle is a bit steep in my mind. Also, try to adjust the saturations / contrast some. Try to get them to pop rather than have such a flat look. And again - apply some USM if you can as the focus seems a bit soft. The guy in the background - the head...would crop it out.

Just my humble opinions. May not be what you or anyone esle would like, but thought I would try to help you out.

I agree with ShutterPug on the pirate kid.

On the guitarist, I'd do what she suggested and also clone out all of the distractions like the water jug, pole and whatever else you can get rid of. The cymbal is very blown out. Don't know what to suggest about that.

Maybe you could try a duotone or B/W, some dodge and burn, grunge effect, more contrast (it is pretty flat). Hopefully some experts will give better advice.

ROFLMAO!

That's pretty funny. Get rid of her in the picture, not in real life. And whatever you do...don't let her see this thread! We've already lost one valued user due to the wrath of a significant other.

well guys...there's no way of making sure my fiance' wont see this thread. she's on DPC too.

she's been away in arizona for a week but when she gets back tonight she will see this thread.

im just hoping that seeing a clean kitchen, computer room, and two bathrooms ( including two toilets, two sinks, one set of cabinets, and a bathtub ) first will have more of an effect on her than this thread.

she sounded like she really looks forward to the idea of a florida GTG so she's definately going to meet greatandsmall... and find out about this thread.

i just hope i'm alive to meet greatandsmall.

talk to you soon...

or goodbye.

(not sure yet lol)

LOL!

If she's anything like me, the fact that you cleaned the toilets would make up for anything that could be said in a DPC thread.

I've never been more attracted to my husband than when he is cleaning the house. Give me a scrubbed bathroom over a dozen roses anyday! Hopefully she is of like mind.

Can't wait to meet y'all at the GTG!
