After a presentation of his own travel work, Mark will then have the students put ideas into practice. Photo essays will be discussed on the first Saturday and assignments will be given for the students to do between sessions. The following Saturday the work will be reviewed and discussed. He will take participants out to shoot models on location, as well as in the studio, and he will even show how to make use of simple lights around the house. While working with the models, Robert will talk about creating a rapport with them, about making both the model and the photographer feel comfortable.
